Wedding photography for people who’d rather enjoy their day than spend it posing for photos.
Most couples tell me they’re not completely comfortable in front of a camera, and that’s absolutely fine. My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive, capturing the laughter, reactions, family, friends and all the little moments happening around you.
When it’s time for portraits or group photographs, I’ll step in with gentle direction so you never have to wonder what to do. We’ll get the photographs you want without turning your wedding day into one long photoshoot, then you can get straight back to enjoying it.

I’m James. I’m pretty relaxed, I don’t take myself too seriously, and my aim is to make photography feel like an easy part of your wedding rather than something that takes you away from it.
I’ll give you a little direction when you need it, keep family photographs moving efficiently, and spend the rest of the day paying attention to the people and moments happening around you. The goal is for you to enjoy yourselves, forget about the camera as much as possible, and end up with photographs that genuinely feel like your wedding.

For couples who want the most comprehensive coverage I offer, Mayfair combines ten hours of photography with an engagement session, a second photographer and a handcrafted Folio wedding album.
The additional photographer allows us to capture more of the day simultaneously, from both partners getting ready to different perspectives during the ceremony and candid moments happening elsewhere, while the engagement session gives us the chance to get comfortable together before the wedding.
